ESTUDIO ESTERLINA

Estudio Esterlina is an architecture and interior design workshop, which seeks to build spaces that create atmospheres and experiences based on the understanding of the site: from the detailed analysis of the context, to light and shadow conditions, as well as the nature of the materials and the surrounding architecture. The workshop not only seeks to create comfortable spaces, but also sensory experiences by using a timeless and honest architecture that relates to its own context, and an interior design that engages through materiality and thought with the architecture that contains it, seeking primarily to enrich the spatial and aesthetic experience of those who inhabit it.

For the Studio, true beauty lies in simplicity. Far from a banal concept, it seeks to find through simplicity, the true essence of the elements; a premise that can be perceived in all of its designs.

The studio is distinguished by its personal involvement in the development of the design, supervision, fabrication and construction processes, as well as by its multidisciplinary collaborations, not only with other architectural firms, but also with industrial and graphic designers, photographers, painters, landscape designers, illuminators and acousticians, among others. This, with the aim of achieving projects that are much more linked to the experience than to the form and where the context, furniture and landscape play a fundamental role in the design.

Esterlina Campuzano studied at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and at the University of Montreal Canada. She holds a Master's degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Salamanca, Spain. Her specialty is architectural and interior design.
